Our Pipette Service Centre Technicians provide a prompt, efficient & effective maintenance & calibration to satisfy customer requirements and to enhance Mettler Toledo service profitability. In this role you will repair and maintain our best in class equipment. More specifically you will succeed in the position by:
  • Routine service and/or calibration of customer instruments to ensure maximum uptime and full compliance for customers.

  • Completion of Training to develop and refine your skills to provide a better customer experience

  • Adherence to all Mettler Toledo Quality and Health and Safety procedures to ensure safe, consistent work in line with SOP's.

  • Be a Trusted Advisor for the customer in the use and maintenance of their equipment to build the customer relationship.

  • To successfully complete an annual calibration competency test for a range of pipettes to ensure ongoing competence and compliance.


What You Need to Succeed


We have an opening for a Pipette Service Centre Technician at Mettler Toledo. Based in our office in Dublin, you will be responsible for servicing, calibrating and maintaining our Pipette machines. You will need to have good attention to detail and be able to provide accurate calibration and servicing to ensure that our equipment is maintained to a high standard. Previous experience using pipettes, either through your education or previous work experience would be an advantage. This experience isn’t essential as we can give you all of the tools and training you need to complete your role, however you will need to be able to work off your own initiative and be able to motivate yourself to achieve your goals. There may be some flexibility around working times for the right candidate, this can be discussed at interview.


The ideal candidate will already have some practical/technical experience in a biochemistry environment and have good communication skills. The ability to translate technical information for a non-technical audience will be required.
