- For both Market Development (70%) and Product Management (30%)
- Market Development China ?
- Develop pH business development strategy of MO China as part of input to SBU strategy as a whole.
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure sales growth (revenue and units), set the right targets, monitor the progress and result.
- Create opportunities in a strategic and sustainable way (e.g. using Fit-Gap-Analysis).
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to generate leads and sales opportunities.
- Roll-out market/product initiatives in China. ?
- Strengthen pH Lab community.
- Drive SBU vision, values and strategy into the MO.
- Deepen relationships with the MO/PO. ?
- Be the local expert. Know the MO organization, share SBU relevant information, collect good practices.
- Be the ambassador between MOs, SBU and PO. Train MOs on selling techniques (Value Selling, GEP, eDemos, SET, etc.).
- Customer visit and share of customer voice.
- Regularly update customer visit information, share conclusions and keep team informed.
- Deliver content for quarterly pH Newsletter and MO calls, upload success stories on pH matters SharePoint .?
- Support development of new training concept as well as revision of campaign/promotion program. Support MAT meeting, actively participate PM circle and special assignments. ?
- Market intelligence. Analyze and monitor China pH market, identify key market trends, competition analysis and intelligence. ?
- Provide monthly reporting and business outlooks, such as sales figures and forecast meter and sensor portfolio produced in China, monitor big orders.
- Product Management ?
- Product management support to other PMs. Influence market requirement specifications of new products.
- Help with the positioning/pricing of new products. Create Value Price Maps.
- Support product introductions in China. ?
- Product portfolio management.
- Define and run specific projects in alignment with SBU, e.g. push of consumables in China. Works in NPDI project as PM role follows PLM/NPDI process. ?
- Product marketing, create and support localization of tools and marketing activities, support marketing projects, prepare success stories, etc. ?
- Support and coordinate pH quality issues from China in collaboration with MSG in Switzerland and PO in China.
Ihr Profil
- Education
- BS or above, with MBA is better
- Chemical background preferable ?
- Working experiences
- 3 years or more, in business development, sales, and/or marketing and PM
- Good understanding of 'Volume Products' and consumables business. Understanding of analytical lab instruments is a plus ?
- Personality and skill
- Self-driven, proactive and independent style of working
- Agile mindset with the willingness to constantly innovate
- Flair for strategy is a must. Strong analytical thinking and skills
- Good business sense with 'hunter' mentality
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
- English: fluent, both written and verbally
- Good technology understanding for communication with R&D
