- This position will report to Pricing Manager in China
- Pricing Analyst's roles and responsibilities are:
Data Analysis and Influencing:
o Data analysis:
? Price performance (Price realization and discount) for all key product categories and key segments in related business unit.
? Price performance KPI for related business unit.
? Win/loss data hygiene and market price analysis to better understand the key underlying drives affecting price performance in each segment.
o Communication and influencing:
? Conduct daily pricing performance review with related management team and sales team.
? Cooperate well with Group Pricing team. Support Group to understand China pricing status.
? Build and enhance pricing culture in Mettler Toledo.
o Report:
? Provide meaningful pricing recommendations and reports.
o Enhance promotion discipline and project profit pre-evaluation during daily business operation. Support business lead to make better pricing decision.
o Promotes and achieves increased organizational effectiveness through process re-design and process management efforts.
Support SAP ERP system roll-ins:
o Conduct mid-year/annual price increase activities within SAP.
o Provide training to Price Administrator for the SAP ERP system.
Ad-hoc Analysis:
o Analyze and synthesize macro-economic data to monitor local prices levels.
o Develop/roll in various pricing toolkits and utilize pricing concepts and ideas.
o Support business unit to actualize profit improvement initiatives.
o Other ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Ihr Profil
- Education
o Bachelor degree
o Major in Data Management or Industry related preferred - Working Experience:
o More than 3-year working experience.
o Sales or Marketing background preferred.
o ERP pricing module implementation experience (SAP experience) is preferred.
o Experience working in a decentralized environment is preferred. - Skills
o Strong analytical skills with significant quantitative analysis experience. Ability to synthesize quantitative information and communicate observations, implications and conclusions in a business context.
o Business/financial modeling. Ability to mine data and translate business information into models which are predictive of business results to assist in effective decision making.
o Strong communication skills (written and oral), including the ability to effectively interact with Marketing/Sales managers.
o Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
o Quickly grasps and understands business implications of decisions.
o Project management and organizational skills.
o Detailed orientated, hands-on approach, can-do attitude, assertiveness, strong problem solving skills and the ability to effectively work with ambiguity.
