Ihre Aufgaben

  • Strategy & Roadmap: Contribute to Terminal strategy and mid- and longer-term product roadmap. 
  • Market Understanding: Analyze regional competitor's product portfolio. Keep in touch with key MOs in region, do customer visits together with sales and service reps in order to get feedback and first hand market information. Visit relevant trade shows. 
  • PLM implementation: Generate inputs to IND400, IND200 NPDI or ECM projects and prepare for global M100 to M500 milestones. Support ongoing MoL initiatives on ICS2, ICS4, ICS6 portfolio. 
  • Product Definition: Provide input to Global PM on possible regional specifics of market needs or differentiation to regional competitors for products of responsibility. Make sure own portfolio is innovative, that it fulfils market needs (including regional/local regulations) and provides outstanding value to our customers and clear advantages over competition.
  •  Product Positioning: Support Global PM in defining adequate positioning and pricing by analyzing situation in own region. Cooperate with and ask for information from MOs. Evaluate positioning of similar or predecessor products as well as products from regional competitors. Coordinate yearly price changes in region. 
  •  Service: Support Global PM in defining service aspects and focus to potential regional/local differences like e.g. spare parts management or pricing. 
  • New Product Launches: Support Global PM in generation of proper product documentation (user manuals, service manuals, quick guides….) and product launch packages including attractive sales tools in required languages (introduction letter, brochures, datasheets, videos, sales presentations, positioning guides, service introduction letter, e-learnings etc.). Focus on potential regional product variants or differences of the product launch in own region. Take lead to create regional versions of product or launch documentation if required. 
  • Product Marketing: Maintain/update regional sales & marketing tools. Support sales & marketing initiatives in region. 
  • Training and Support: Roll-out product introductions and launch trainings in region. Provide 4th level support in region for products/service during active product life. 
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor quality feedbacks from region and contribute to quality improvement or recall activities. Coordinate with PO in region and manage communication to MOs as instructed by Global PM. 
  • Maintenance of Line: Ensure continuous attractiveness of own products in the region throughout the active product life. Monitor sales figures of own region. 
  • Phase-out: Pays particular attention to potential regional specifics (e.g. local approvals) during product phase-out. Generate regional version of phase-out guides if necessary. 
  • ETO and large project support: Supports ETO and big projects in region. 
  • Regional Product Line sales

Ihr Profil

  • Good business and market sense. Keen to understanding trends, market needs, competitor offerings and to visit customers. 
  • General understanding of marketing, sales, pricing and distribution topics. 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English including also writing of requirements and specification documents in Polaris. 
  • Good team spirit to contribute to small team of PMs. 
  • Easy to working together with colleagues from other departments and from MOs in region
  • Product area Interactive Terminals related qualifications (e.g. for IND terminals: Previous experience with industrial weighing, smart devices, data communication and HMI design) 
  • Technical background and good sense for business and commercial subjects including 2 or more years of relevant work experience. 
  • 20-25%, mainly regional travel for customer visits, participation in trade shows, team meetings or training seminars.
