The role of an Assembly Coordinator is to ensure complete alignment between an Assemblers Bill of Material (BOM) and there supporting internal suppliers to keep our Assembly cells running to meet our customers delivery demands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend all daily assembly walks to determine material needs for a assemby cell
Coordinate and prioritize assembly material demands with scheduling, purchasing and fabrication
Maintain a smooth workflow while communicating changes with the Assembly Managers, Supervisors and Leads
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
Follow up with Assemblers material concerns and resolve problems
Ensure assembly material goals are met
Process all Assembly QNZV's
Support Assembly Leads on SAP QN classifications
Generate assembly reports as needed
Maintain documentation (License Plates, Nameplates etc..) necessary for the floor, ensure they are up to date and readily available
Ensure all machine manuals are complete and accurate prior to shipment
Scan all applicable information and communication into the system (job folders) as required
Report any problems or quality issues related to documentation as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Self-starter who exhibits a professional demeanor, enthusiasm, good communications and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver on project timelines with little supervision
Well organized with meticulous attention to detail
Sufficient knowledge of Schematic Drawing, CAD data and BOM structure (Bill of Material)
Good understanding of the A3 process and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology
Excellent technical documentation skills
Knowledge and understanding of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
Quality focused
Proficient in Microsoft Office
SAP Knowledge
Minimum Education / Experience Required:
AS degree
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
