The Digital Business Services (DBS) department at METTLER TOLEDO delivers holistic technical solutions to support business productivity and provide an excellent customer experience. DBS services cover the entire spectrum from infrastructure to applications and from strategy to global operations.

Within our new created Enterprise Reporting and Analytics team at our global operational headquarters in Greifensee, Zurich, we are looking for a passionate and motivated,Data Science Analyst (AA/AI) 100% (f/m/d).

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

Support and enable the business community with an AA environment by managing data access and help shape data sets for the individual business customer activities
Train business partners in assessing, building and deploying new AI solutions (like advance analytics, cases involving ML, DL, NLP, etc.) for beneficial global usage in our varying business units
Collaborate with data architects and data engineers to support and shape the further development of a data strategy and bespoke technical infrastructure, leveraging existing BW4HANA / SAP Data Intelligence
Ensure adherence to standards, support verify data quality and improve data cleaning on the dataset
Provision and manage the end-user community, accessing and working within the analytical environment
Defining front / back-end interfaces and workflow procedures in the environment as well as delivering data sets for investigations
Manage stakeholders, provide transparency on progress, business case and risks

Ihr Profil

Following requirements are necessary for this role:

Degree in Computer / Data Science or similar
First experience with data integration, cloud platforms, HANA, APIs
Good knowledge of SQL and Python, preferred knowledge of R, Java-Script or Scala
Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (data modeling, data warehousing) as well as of algorithms and data structures
Strong analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets
Ability to support technical project assessments including selection of hardware
Work independently and approach problems in a structured and pragmatic way
Good organizational skills, coordination of work in multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication skills in English language, German is a plus
