Global Service Desk with German

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Act as a second point of contact for company employees concerning IT issues and queries,
  • Log all reported issues in Service-Now. Take ownership of the tickets and follow up the status and communicate progress in a timely manner, 
  • Handle tickets submitted to queues within the defined SLA,
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve hardware problems, maintenance, technical assistance, and support on a range of PC computers and peripherals,
  • Routine firmware and software updates across the environment,
  • Produce and maintain documentation of IT systems and software in line with existing Standard Operating Procedures,
  • Maintain entries in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP,
  • Administration of user accounts and permissions in IT systems,
  • Software and Hardware purchase,
  • Installation and maintenance of desktop computer hardware; including computers, monitors, printers, and other computer equipment,
  • Basic level of server support (set up and administration),
  • Work and co-operate with second level support teams across organization.

Ihr Profil

  • In-depth knowledge and working experience in PC / Laptop troubleshooting and providing second line end user support,
  • Basic understanding in networking related technologies such as switching, routing, DHCP, LAN, WAN and network troubleshooting, familiar with Microsoft Windows 2012+ server related technologies,
  • Solid experience in providing IT support in computer, network and server related areas,
  • Strong communication skills,
  • Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software,
  • Master/ Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience,
  • Required knowledge or hands-on experience in areas: Active Directory Services fundamentals, VPN, Network, MS Office and Office 365, Windows 10,
  • Verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
