Inventory Coordinator, Cambridge, MA

We are currently hiring a part-time Inventory Coordinator in Cambridge, MA. 
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for carrying out basic tasks at a customer site or multiple customer sites.  Basic tasks can include but are not limited to, inventory management, purchasing, shipping, receiving, and product delivery.  Responsibilities include
  • Performing inventory management related functions such as monitoring slow moving and dead stock, conduct cycle counting and yearly inventories, and reporting.
  • Responsible for all customer service related functions including but not limited to: order entry, reporting, basic cross referencing and product conversions to Rainin products, maintaining metrics, and cost avoidance.
  • Performing shipping coordination activities such as shipping, answering customer calls, handling routine issues, operating a hand-jack and forklift, entering relevant shipping and ordering information into the customer order processing system.
  • Candidate Interfaces directly with customer POC, purchasing directors, facility directors, plant managers and SH&E directors and is responsible for managing consigned, non-consigned and customer owned inventory onsite at the customer location.
  • Utilizing Rainin and basic customer computer systems in fulfillment of job duties.
  • Meeting goals and objectives: revenue, safety, performance and quality.  Works with local Account manager to identify revenue growth opportunities.

Ihr Profil

  • Bachelors degree plus 1-2 years customer facing experience.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs minimum, May be required to travel up to 25% in the United States.

  • Manual Liquid Handling service and/or sales experience a plus.   

  • Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, security clearances and medical checkups.
