Leads are important to support sales and service growth for METTLER TOLEDO.  Incoming leads comes from sources such as METTLER TOLEDO's website, demonstration bus, 3rd party advertising, trade shows, field service, other METTLER TOLEDO units, etc… It is critical for customer satisfaction and for the continued growth of our business that the response to customer inquiries is fast, professional, and of the highest possible quality. This position as part of the marketing team will support these objectives through data entry, proper routing of customer requests, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The individual should have a strong customer-care orientation, a high level of motivation and persistence, and a strong attention to detail. The individual is required to be proficient in the operation of standard Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with SAP CRM is a plus.


·       Takes responsibility for providing best-in-class customer care for all customer requests. 

·       Manages all inbound customer requests (sources include web, marketing emails, advertising, cross leads, demo bus, field service, etc.), processes these messages into the SAP CRM system, and routes these messages to the appropriate business.

·       Provides any necessary communication to the customer regarding the receipt of their inquiry, the next steps, and responses to questions.

·       Ensures timely and accurate lead entry and distribution to the appropriate party for follow-up.  

·       Understands and abides with SAP CRM data entry rules and processes as defined by METTLER TOLEDO.

·       Ensures database integrity by validating and correcting the data within our SAP CRM database at every practical opportunity.

·       Has general knowledge of the product lines and service offerings of all of our business areas.

·       Actively participates in process improvement activities to enhance customer experience, prevent customer escalations, and reduce overdue leads.

·       Other duties as assigned

·       Presents a professional image. Works diligently and professionally in the pursuit of department and company goals. Is able to display a disciplined professional attitude at all times.

·       Bilingual in Spanish and English


·       Minimum Associates degree (HS Diploma with relevant Business experience may be considered).

·       2+ years' experience in customer service and/or data entry positions.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Proficient with MS Office Applications (Word /Excel/Outlook) and CRM systems (SAP preferred)

·       Enthusiastic, customer-focused, proactive, and detail oriented.
