- Achievement of SBU targets for Sales nationally
- Lead direct reports with a leadership style that will allow them to be successful in achieving their personal goals and the goals of the company.
- Is the key partner in the development of key SBU strategies, plans, budgets, quotas and objectives.
- Assist the National Sales Manager and SBU in identification of and requirements for new markets, products and opportunities. Assist in the development of strategies/programs to address the agreed upon opportunities.
- Develop, document and implement a national Vehicle strategy/plan (Sales Plan). It must include emphasis on the following:
- Target accounts (MT and non-MT)
- Local marketing requirements
- Optimal sales coverage/mix and compliance with productivity targets
- Development of strengthened relationships with targeted industry segments
- Leverage/cooperation with Service, Support and sister BA’s/Divisions
- Use of the industry/market database
- Training/skill development plans for team personnel
- Milestones to measure and track results
- Develop an annual budget that includes - projected sales volume, resources required, assets required (inventory,) and staffing levels necessary to achieve targets.
- Manage all Vehicle sales activity so as to achieve the maximum revenue to expense ratio within the Direct US market.
- Utilize key measuring tools to ensure sales activities meet or exceed defined metrics for quote volume, pipeline management, and WebLead tracking.
- Measure sales progress on a regular basis to make sure that we are tracking towards targeted results. Identify obstacles that are preventing results, and implement any necessary adjustments.
- Assure close cooperation with the local service organization and maximize the company’s total potential in the market area.
- Be a liaison with other BA’s/Divisions (i.e. lab and packaging) to leverage opportunities for the direct region and the cooperation in key accounts.
- As needed, be a strategic member of IND acquisition teams for due diligence and implementation processes.
- Conduct annual performance reviews with all direct reports.
- Track vacation time, sick time, unproductive time off, expense reporting, and essential assets.
- Promote participation in Industry, manufacturing, and trade associations which enhance our market position.
Ihr Profil
Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Engineering, Industry and Technology or Business Administration (w/appropriate experience); At least seven to ten years in field sales and business related management. Proven track record of superior performance. Must be proficient in CRM, MS Office software. Solid organizational skills and professional image. Knowledge of PLC and distributed control systems, PC application and related connectivity, Sales experience with OEM's, VAR's, integrators, and engineering houses is helpful.
