Our Product Management team is seeking a technical minded, ambitious individual to fill a Product Manager role for the Particle Systems Characterization (PSC) product line to develop and execute the roadmap and strategy for all hardware and software product lines. You will be responsible for delivering high quality sales and marketing tools to the field, coordinating sustaining engineering efforts, supporting manufacturing efforts and ensuring that each product is contributing to the profitable growth of the business.  

Essential job duties include:
• Working closely with management team to define a cohesive hardware and software product strategy that will result in sustainable and profitable growth for the product line
• Developing a product roadmap that supports the strategic plan guided by input from customers and field sales representatives that is supported by detailed market analysis
• Assuming ownership of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process for PSC hardware and software product lines through all milestones from ideation to retirement
• Guiding projects through New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) process, resulting in the delivery of innovative new PSC products to the market
• Supporting the development of best in class sales tools and marketing campaigns for new product launches
• Supporting high value customer visits to generate a firm understanding of customer challenges and needs
• Ensuring strong "voice of the customer" and emerging technology considerations when developing market requirement specifications

Ihr Profil

  • Bachelor's degree in a Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field; Advanced degree preferred
  • Five (5) years sales/marketing experience; Three (3) years product management experience; Two (2) years in laboratory instrument sales support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with particle characterization equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of ATEX/IECEx preferred
  • Strong track record of delivering business results and demonstrated ability to mobilize and influence the organization
  • Global brand management and international experience preferred
  • Proven successful completion of full product launches and willingness to perform hands-on activities
  • Proven product and project management leadership including a clear understanding of the various roles of functional support groups and their interrelation
  • Strong financial background with product justification experience and margin analysis. Proven abilities in reporting ROI and effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Open and effective communication style, excellent public presentation skills, strong people skills, cross-organizational teamwork and the ability to interact with and influence the direction of key opinion leaders
  • Excellent writing skills with prior experience in producing marketing communications
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness and ability to travel worldwide, up to 25%
  • SAP knowledge preferred
