Product and Segment Manager UV/VIS 100% (w/m/d)
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
- As experienced Product Manager you will be in charge of promoting the METTLER TOLEDO UV/VIS spectroscopy portfolio based on the thorough analysis of market demands and subsequent development, implementation and monitoring of respective marketing campaigns using various segment-specific (e-) marketing channels
- You are responsible for Life Science segment management with the aim to significantly improve penetration with the UV/VIS Life Science instrument portfolio
- You are responsible for dealer and channel management and maintenance of external partnerships
- You are responsible for the development of sales-support material and support the creation and coordination of marketing strategies by collaboration with various specialist groups
- You will ensure competition analysis, monitor competitors, evaluate impact of new competitor products or marketing activities and develop counter arguments and actions
- You will define market specifications regarding features, benefits, unique selling points, value proposition, product positioning, usability etc. with the aim to optimize marketing and distribution of the existing product portfolio as well as to initiate the development of new product solutions
Ihr Profil
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
- You have a bachelor- or master-degree in natural sciences (e.g. chemistry, biology, physics), further education in product management, marketing or sales would be of advantage
- You have a couple of years of professional experience as Product Manager of technical products, preferably in the area of analytical optical spectroscopic methods, including product life cycle management
- You have specific knowledge in life science, pharma, chemistry, food and beverage industry segments in quality control and research workplaces
- Work experience with segment marketing campaigns, e-marketing and SEM is desirable
- Advantageous would be practical skills in quantitative chemical analysis as well as UV/VIS, fluorescence- or Raman spectroscopy
- You have a high degree of autonomy and efficiency, are reliable and flexible and still have a high sense of responsibility and quality. Furthermore you would describe yourself as a real team player
- Very good PC user experience (e.g. MS Office) is requested, experience in dealing with tools for technical manuals (e.g. Photoshop, Adobe, InDesign) and SAP experience would be of advantage
- We require good communication skills in German and English, further languages are of advantage
