Project Engineer

Ihre Aufgaben

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the lifecycle of our specialist X-ray inspection equipment assuring project accuracy and product quality from conception to completion .

These projects, which develop equipment for the food and pharma industries typically last between 2 and 6 months and can range from customisation of an existing product for a new application through to managing multiple system roll-outs across numerous sites around the globe

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the order specifications from the customer are accurate and within scope
  • Supporting sub-projects, specifically with non-standard rejects and alterations
  • Work with the sales team offering technical drawings in support
  • Use initiative based on knowledge gained when interpreting customer orders

Ihr Profil

•Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline

•Working experience of a stage/gate project methodology

•Experience in the design and integration of complex electro-mechanical products

•Knowledge of material selection and component manufacturing processes  

•Knowledge and Experience of Robust Design and Systems Engineering principles

•Working knowledge of design visualisation software such as AutoCAD, Inventor
