SAP Variant Configurator Specialist

Ihre Aufgaben

The SAP Variant Configurator Specialist is responsible for developing and supporting the Product Inspection portfolio by creating specification requirements and testing SAP configurable materials (VC models). Additionally, the role is responsible for development of software tools based on smart user forms which semi-automate critical business processes, such as intelligent configuration of a VC model. These tools are referred to as offline configurators (OLCs) in accordance with Mettler Toledo's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) policies and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

·         Good task and project management skills.

·         Maintain professional attitude with good interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to support VC/OLC users with timely responses to support quotation and order process challenges.

·        Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to be a leader in dealing with multinational corporations.

·        General programming experience preferred. Direct training for our platforms will be provided by Mettler-Toledo.

·        Familiarity with modularity of software design and general best practices in software development.

·        Familiarity with common concepts in Engineering, Quality, and Production, such as design, BOMs, routing, etc.

·        Familiarity with common business concepts, including Sales, Service Upgrades, Quoting, and Order Processing.
