We have paused some of our recruitment activity at Mettler Toledo given the circumstances about the COVID-19. It is complex time for us all and as a result, this will pose difficulties in onboarding new colleagues into the organisation.

We have an exciting new opportunity to recruit a Talent Acquisition Specialist to work at our site in Royston. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process for the three UK units through the identification and screening of candidates and building partnerships with Line Managers to drive talent acquisition initiatives. Working closely with the Unit HR teams, this role will report functionally (dotted line) into the Head of Talent Acquisition for Europe and solid line into the HR Manager of the Unit the person is hired into. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Translate business needs into effective talent acquisition actions to attract and select top talent 
• Coach and influence line managers and Unit HR teams on up to date recruitment practices 
• Act as the trusted recruitment partner of the Hiring Managers. Provide information guidance and documentation around the recruitment process and tools, share market insights, propose recruitment strategy, provide regular feedback, and follow up on the process 
• Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process ensuring proper candidate management including writing effective job adverts and providing feedback to candidates
 • Proactively source, identify, pre-screen and qualify candidates to deliver relevant and diverse shortlists to Hiring Managers for consideration 
• Ensure that hiring procedures comply with corporate policies, guidelines and local legislation 
• Responsible for the design, development and execution of proactive internal and external sourcing strategies and ensure these are shared and communicated with Centre of Excellence 
• Proactively identify profiles to build pipelines for key positions, high potential talent or turn over • Improve the use of Social Media channels as relevant in accordance with sourcing strategy
• Identify and develop branding initiatives, which contribute to the successful employer branding message and articulate the benefits of the role & the organization to the candidate throughout the process 
• Build a Preferred Supplier list of agencies to partner with if required. 
• Own agreements with Agencies locally, but also with local Job Boards and candidate platforms. This includes contract negotiations, package agreements, QBR meetings, invoice processing, etc.

Ihr Profil


To succeed you will hold a degree in a HR related subject or have extensive experience working in a recruitment role that has given you broad exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle. You will have an excellent understanding of the current recruitment market in the UK and be up to speed with candidate sourcing methods and techniques such as; CV sourcing, talent mapping and creating meaningful candidate pipelines. You will have a technical mindset with proven experience of using ATS tools and relevant social media platforms as well as having excellent knowledge of MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Power Point). 

Your ability to work, interact and consult with hiring managers from different levels of the organisation will be imperative to your success along with the ability to juggle multiple tasks/vacancies and prioritise your work effectively. You will have excellent attention to detail, be organised and confident in making decisions in a fast-paced environment. You will be motivated to follow-up, and follow-through on commitments whilst taking full accountability for your area. A strong negotiator with well-developed coaching and influencing skills, you will be confident in challenging appropriately where required. 

There will be some regular travel involved with this role, as you will need to visit the three sites to ensure that you are having regular face-to-face contact with all parts of the business.
