- Perform research on industry best practice and provide subject matter expertise to optimize global license usage.
- Review existing software life cycle management processes and provide improvement recommendations.
- Participate in SW license and maintenance agreement negotiations and renewal process, provide data and advice as required.
- Identify, document, and report license compliance issues and recommend solutions to resolve them, support vendor audits as required.
- Contribute to development and maintenance of tracking system for software assets to maintain an accurate inventory and accounting of software licenses.
- Provide support to various departments related to software license questions as required (budget forecast, reporting, licensing options, compliance, audit)
- Act as Service Owner for selected centrally managed applications.
- Increase operational efficiency through process enhancement, automation, and standardization.
- Drive activities to improve end user experience throughout the whole lifecycle of software assets.
- Manage allocation of software licenses and maintain associated user information within various partner portals.
- Conduct 1st and 2nd level support- troubleshoot and resolve SW license related problems in collaboration with internal and external support teams.
- At least 2 years of experience in optimizing software licenses, identifying savings, minimizing risks, and complying with regulations.
- Good knowledge of the different licensing models and terms of vendors such as Microsoft, VMware, Adobe, Oracle.
- Strong understanding of software asset life cycles and supply chain methods and processes
- Fluency in English - min. C1 level.
- Working experience with ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- previous IT experience is a plus.
