- Conducting research and development of sensor and measurement systems for bioprocessing applications.
- Designing and developing new sensors and measurement systems that can monitor critical processes and parameters such as pressure, temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, etc.
- Working and collaborating with other engineers, bioprocessing experts, product management, and stakeholders in stablishing the user and product requirements.
- Generating the design concepts by performing analysis of the user requirements.
- Creating a working concept by rapid prototyping methods.
- Testing and evaluating sensor and measurement prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Developing and maintaining accurate documentation of design, testing, and development processes.
- Conducting design verification and validation testing for new products and/or changes to existing products.
- Developing and creating the technical documentation of current products when necessary, including BOMs, work instructions, product descriptions, date sheets, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical, chemical, robotic, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a product development organization, preferably in bioprocesses sensor development and engineering.
- Expert knowledge and use of CAD, SolidWorks, or Creo software.
- Experience with GMP regulations and documentation is a plus.
