Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As part of our field service organization, we develop and maintain custom applications that our technicians use to perform their service work. These applications include client-side development of offline and online components, web development and database programming. The DBS SVC – Field Solutions team geographically distributed, located in Columbus, Ohio USA, Warsaw, Poland, and in Shanghai, China, supporting the Global Service Organization. 

The Net Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining mission critical systems and applications using MS C# and Visual Studio technologies as well as SQL Server Integration Services. You will provide input on development strategies and application design. You will be responsible for full life cycle development from analysis, coding, unit testing, and documentation. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Application development in new and existing software projects with C# / Visual Studio 
  • Practice quality software development utilizing established quality management practices 
  • Write effective documentation 
  • Participate in unit testing and test-driven development 
  • Participate in an experienced, Agile, energetic team on a rapid development schedule. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • At least 3-5 years working experience in software development 
  • Extensive knowledge of 
  • C# / .NET 4.6 Framework 
  • Visual Studio 2010 to 2017 
  • MS SQL Server 
  • Integration Services package development 
  • Use of MVVM design pattern for UI development in WPF 
  • WCF/WebAPI Web Services 
  • ASP MVC 
  • Report Development 
  • Experience with nHibernate and/or other .Net ORM technologies 
  • Experience with Subversion and/or TFS 
  • Language skills: Proficient in English (written and oral) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability 
  • Good understanding of software development processes 
  • Good communication and presentation skills 
  • Understand and respect different cultures
