Credit & Collections Analyst

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

In close cooperation with the Credit & Collection Manager, and other members of the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC) and business units, this role supports the credit and collections team, for a defined range of customer accounts. Responsibilities include monitoring credit limits, resolving disputed invoices, releasing orders and collection calls. This role requires strong multitasking and interpersonal communication skills, as well as basic data entry and data analysis abilities (SAP, Excel and SharePoint). 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collection Efforts 
  • Contact customers with past due balances to facilitate payment 
  • Contact can be made via phone, letter or email 
  • Submit invoices via online, web-based applications Dispute Resolution 
  • Research and resolve disputed invoices 
  • Work collaboratively with functional departments to resolve customer disputes, inquiries and requests Credit Review 
  • Review orders on hold to determine action needed to release, including requests to change customer credit limits Cash Receipts 
  • Review incoming cash receipts to ensure appropriate cash application 
  • Log customer payments, including future promises to pay

What You Need to Succeed

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills 
  • Strong multitasking abilities 
  • Solid time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks 
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word and Excel 
  • Establishes and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with internal customers. 
  • Supports the success of a high-performing shared service organization by focusing on continuous improvements in business processes 
 Education, Experience & Skills 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; academic background in business administration preferred 
  • Three years of experience in customer support or office administration role 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • SAP experience desired
