Pipette Depot Technician

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities


This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, certifications, troubleshooting, and diagnosing of pipettes at the Mississauga depot facility. Occasional service at customer locations may be required. 

  • Performs preventative maintenance, certification and repairs on pipettes in the calibration lab in Mississauga; 
  • Complies with ISO 17025 standards and maintains proper parts inventory levels; 
  • Assists and cooperates with Service Support Representatives whenever necessary. Insures productivity standards are met and includes assurance of data integrity of the service database; 
  • Follows and adheres to all service requirements and procedures; 
  • Completes record keeping on time; 
  • Works to insure an atmosphere of teamwork, and participates with a positive attitude toward obtaining team objectives; 
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures facilitates Environmental Health & Safety program; 
  • Submits all required paperwork in a timely and professional manner, maintains a close professional relationship with external/internal customers, sales, technicians and other leaders;

A combination of degree/diploma and/or relevant work experience may be considered. Advanced computer skills and experience required. Experience in the field of chemistry and/or biology would be a benefit.
