TeleSales - Service Contract Key Accounts

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Our Service Department is looking to fill a TeleSales position to cover our Service Contracts Key Accounts.  This 
position will work closely with our Field Sales and Service organizations to drive the development of the software site license and service contract business at key accounts in the US, by implementing sales and marketing campaigns to our customer base in the pharmaceutical and high value chemical industries. The position is responsible for identifying and meeting with key stakeholders at these accounts to discuss, present, propose and secure contracts that align with the customer's business needs and strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the sales process, cultivating partnerships and growing renewal business for existing service contract holders
  • Processing service quotes, working with our service team to process contracts and coordinate scheduling details, and working with  accounting on invoicing needs
  • Using a combination of telesales and on-site meetings to drive service contract sales to non-service contract customers
  • Working with business intelligence reports to identify potential opportunities and managing the sales process from start to finish
  • Providing monthly reports on service sales metrics to Service Sales Manager/Head of Global Service
  • Identifying and driving opportunities for software upgrades, end user trainings, and spare part sales 
  • Providing service assistance and materials to the field sales team to ensure successful service integration at Point of Sale (POS)
  • Developing technical knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sciences, or Engineering preferred
  • Two (2) years sales experience in laboratory equipment/instrumentation (product or service); or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with Key Accounts preferred
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical/process development market preferred
  • Prior experience in a technical lab or field support role is a plus
  • Consultative selling, self-confident and strong entrepreneurial spirit required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Strong team and organizational skills
  • MS office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • SAP knowledge preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel, up to 20%,that may include extended overnight trips, some international travel may also be required
