Marketing Communications Manager

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Our Marketing Department is searching for a dynamic and creative individual to lead our Marketing Communications team of content creators who will support campaign development and execution.  You will be responsible for Marketing Communications and eMarketing activity for both the global Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and the local US Marketing Organization (MO), with a goal to drive target market awareness, demand generation, and ultimately sales growth. Our instruments make it possible for scientists to develop new drugs and bring life-saving medicines to the world.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing to define and develop the complete AutoChem marketing experience by determining positioning, developing messaging and creating content for all internal and external communications
  • Creating high value content to support global marketing campaigns (online seminars, whitepapers, brochures, videos, web content)
  • Executing global marketing campaigns for the AutoChem Strategic Business Unit (SBU), SPGs, Software and Service
  • Managing SET content and structure to be of high value to drive utilization by field sales teams
  • Working with product, software and service leaders to establish required marketing initiatives to drive Hot and Warm lead growth, solution awareness
  • Managing the delivery of captivating content that delights consumers using diverse media that can be leveraged across marketing campaigns
  • Managing the delivery of tools to field and inside sales teams that will increase the rate at which leads become opportunities, and opportunities become orders
  • Driving the development of AutoChem website presence and e-marketing strategy/ tactics to improve keyword ranking while optimizing with customer experience and growing hot and warm eMessages on MT.com
  • Analyzing marketing KPIs and funnel metrics, along with program results, effectiveness and ROI and make recommendations for optimization and improvement
  • Nurturing a creative team that can deliver content with speed and quality while fostering an innovative working environment

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing and 5 years of experience developing marketing campaigns for a scientific audience, or 10 years of experience developing marketing campaigns for a scientific audience
  • 3 years of experience managing creative teams responsible for the delivery of high quality content for scientific marketing campaigns
  • Proven ability to interpret and translate business strategies into creative marketing campaigns that will create sales opportunities
  • Proven ability to interpret and translate complex scientific topics into creative and easy-to-understand campaign elements
  • Experience succeeding in matrix organizations where stakeholders have diverse objectives and are often not located in the same facility
  • Experience managing complex projects and delivering high quality material to strict deadlines.
  • Experience with SAP (highly preferred)
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% as needed
