- Serves as an in-office point person for plant employees and leaders within aforementioned areas and recognizes complex issues that should be escalated.
- Conducts onboarding activities for new and temporary employees.
- Ensures effective and timely administration of the Company’s SAP/HCM system, Kronos time tracking, ADP payroll submissions, annual bonus submission process, HR vendor invoice processing and quarterly/monthly reporting requirements.
- Assist the Head of HR on special projects. Where applicable, participate in special project teams in support of improving HR policies, programs, and/or initiatives.
- Support the compliance team regarding routine external customer requests requiring Affirmative Action (AA) / Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmation, drug screens, background checks and compliance with local, state and federal laws.
- Manage immigration matters for existing and new employees in conjunction with Outside Counsel.
- Conducts exit interviews for departing employees; provides summary and analysis of trending termination data.
- Responsible for the HR SharePoint Site and associated maintenance.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Assist with recruitment efforts for employees as needed .
- A Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or applicable discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience. Experience in Manufacturing with a major international corporation required.
- Excellent people skills and aptitude to facilitate involvement of others in solving complex issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven effectiveness in small and large team environments.
- Ability to lead initiatives, manage projects, and work as part of a project team.
- Prior experience in a professional or office administrator role.
- Sound analytical abilities and business sense.
- Demonstrate high energy level and the drive required to proactively manage activities within a dynamic business environment.
- Hands-on style and willingness to perform a range of detailed work.
- The motivation, adaptability, and professional qualities to work well with individuals in multiple disciplines and across global organizations.
- HRM-CP and/or PHR certifications.
