- Achievement of assigned sales targets and business development objectives; provides and manages all sales functions for the product line. This includes development and implementation of both strategic and tactical sales plans to meet stated sales revenue objectives.
- Develop and maintain dynamic pipeline of sales opportunities within assigned territory.
- Working and coordinating closely with MT LSS Reps, instrument reps and field service groups on a regular basis to generate new leads, develop opportunities, generate customer proposals to leverage entire METTLER TOLEDO lab product and service portfolio.
- Perform technical presentations and demonstrations involving laboratory instrumentation and/or software to existing or potential customers. Conducts presentations/demonstrations primarily in person or by using conferencing/virtual technologies where appropriate and prudent.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to create divisional & national opportunities, manage the sales cycle, defend our competitive position and develop strong customer relationships. Develop national strategic partnerships with existing and targeted high-profile Key Accounts
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Chemistry, Natural Sciences or Business.
- 5 years of Field Sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant experience with ERP and/or CRM systems; SAP preferred.
- Excellence in interpersonal/communication skills, professional maturity, and the ability to work with minimum supervision - a self-starter with strong organization, prioritization and time management skills
