Product Information System Owner

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Program Management:
    • Create toolboxes, guidelines, training materials and best practices.
    • Support the ongoing rollout of product content on our website by working with various stakeholders.
    • Support the our local Commercial Units by creating new or updating existing catalogs.
    • Support the sCommerce team to provide the product data needed for the eShop scenarios.
    • Translation costs management.
    • Manage our SharePoint to ensure that content is up to date and easily findable by the PDS community.
    • Ensure all training material is clear and up to date.
    • Support where needed reporting to senior management / key stakeholders.
    • Technical oversight of the database.
    • Supporting Service offering/content in the system.
    • Support PIM Support Specialists, providing functional guidance when required.
    • Coordinate tasks being delivered by PIM Support Specialists.
  • Project Management:
    • Together with Program Manager work on business projects and initiatives as required by the business and aligned with GPO.
    • Improve business processes.
  • Product Owner:
    • Manage the product backlog, prioritize the requirements and give clear guidelines to the development team (both for the enhancements and new features).
    • Ensure the User Stories and Acceptance criteria are properly defined and ready on time for the development team (Definition of Ready).
    • Be available to the development team at all times to answer any questions team members have regarding the customer’s view of how they’re implementing a product feature.
    • Collaborate with POs from other functional areas to align priorities and support delivery of cross functional features/projects.
    • Participate in Scrum events (including PI planning if required).
    • Ensure that delivered User Stories meet the requirements and comply with Definition of Done.
    • Support the Incident resolution process.
    • Work with JIRA and SNOW to ensure proper documentation.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor degree in IT, Marketing, Commerce, Business or related field,
  • 4 years of experience in system administration (e.g. product information system).  
  • Knowledge of Advanced Excel, 
  • Proficiency in English (C1), 
  • Knowledge of Scrum framework,
  • Tech savvy person with very good communication skills. 
Nice to have:
  • Previous experience with Product Information Management systems or the Product Owner role would be a benefit.
