- Perform highly diversified duties to install, maintain and support production machines and facility equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Disassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem.
- Troubleshoot, repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components.
- Perform tests and run initial batches to make sure that the machine is running smoothly.
- Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.
- Detect minor problems by performing basic to complex diagnostic tests.
- Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery as well as check the performance of machinery.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Adjust equipment and reset or calibrate sensors and controls.
- High School Diploma required, Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical technology, Industrial Automation Technology, preferred and/or equivalent of 3 yrs. Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
- Must demonstrate leadership skills as well as proven past project and task ownership.
- Must be familiar with basic functions of heavy industrial equipment and material handling devices.
- Must have strong understanding of EHS requirements and a record of adherence and conformance to them.
- OSHA 10/30hr course helpful. Ability to identify and successfully execute formal training on a regular basis for personal improvement, identifying developing technologies and techniques, which will enrich and add value to performance relative to this job function.
- PLC programming, troubleshooting and diagnostics is strongly preferred.
- Certification in overhead crane inspections will be provided. Re-certification will be required every 2 years.
- Demonstrated experience with single and three phase electric up to 480V.
- Lifting and moving 75+ pounds; standing, squatting, climbing ladders, twisting, bending, crawling and reaching.
- Must be available to work OT when requested or required, typically occurs some Fridays to support High Production volumes and/or Maintenance Projects.
