- Develop and maintain processes for quoting and managing upgrades through the service sales team.
- Decrease the time between requests for quote and quote delivery.
- Research the current machine configuration and customer specifications, in order to determine an appropriate machine upgrade and/or a product replacement strategy.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, Technical Support and Service Sales in order to develop and create Service Upgrade Products.
- Develop customer target lists through analysis of the installed machine database (iBase) and assist in developing the targeted campaigns for driving upgrade opportunities.
- Review all requests for technical accuracy and feasibility.
- Provide technical feedback with regards to requests from customers and Sales Representatives.
- Work with engineering groups to improve the quoting process.
- Report to management all order fulfillment problems, dissatisfied customers and issues that impact the ability to deliver the customer.
- Create and measure KPI's to improve conversion rates of quotes to sales.
- Create and measure KPI's to improve the profitability of upgrades.
- Coordinate the manufacture and delivery of upgrades through the Production Organization.

- Have a thorough understanding of electronics and schematics, material handling, metal detection (MD), X-Ray (XR), check weighing (CW), and vision inspection (VI).
- Knowledge of Mettler internal systems and ability to navigate through them to find answers to technical questions/problems (The Vault, Syteline, Sales Logix, Intranet site, schematics, Team Center, Autodesk Inventor, Microsoft etc).
- Understanding of the food processing, packaging and pharma industries and environments
- Ability to handle a hectic, fast pace, ever –changing work environment, while maintaining a professional attitude
- Must be organized, efficient, detail-oriented, innovative and effective problem-solver.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Exceptional communication skills and presentation skills (written and verbal), as well as excellent interpersonal skills to foster interaction within all levels of the organization, clients and subcontractors

- Bachelor’s degree or six years of relevant experience.
