Order Management Manager

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire an Order Management Manager to provide support and guidance to our Order Management team. As our Order Management Manager you will be responsible for assisting employees with daily responsibilities, all order management functions, including order entry timeliness, order entry accuracy, meeting or exceeding service level targets, and maintaining and communicating month-end forecasts. In this role, you will be required to enforce company policies and procedures as they relate to the business, and assist in development of new policies and procedures as needed. In addition, assuring timely monthly statistic reporting, and CRM update accuracy, is required. You will also be responsible for the coaching, training, and disciplining of employees as required, as well as timely annual performance reviews.

Your responsibilities in this role will also include, but are not limited to:
  • Set priorities for the group to ensure critical tasks are performed in a timely manner in line with business priorities.
  • Personnel management requirements: training, coaching/monitoring programs for all employees; regular performance feedback regarding KPIs for each role; talent recruitment, annual performance evaluations and more.
  • Supervise activity and productivity of assigned team of Order Management representatives.
  • Ensure quality service with focus on accuracy, service level, customer service and urgency to response/ follow-up
  • Ensures (Senior) Order Management Specialists have the required product, sales, service and business systems training necessary to perform their job responsibilities.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO standards and METTLER TOLEDO Operating Policies and procedures and compliance with the company’s order validity policy, authority limits, and standard terms and conditions of sale.
  • Build strong relationships with other functional areas to facilitate the goals of the business.
  • Order processing and management: orders received and processed in a timely manner, while maintaining ISO & Sarbanes-Oxley compliances
  • Assure database integrity by validating and correcting the data housed within our CRM at every practical opportunity

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university;  or an Associate’s degree with two to three years of any combination of customer service, sales, or marketing related experience; or five or more years of any combination of customer service, sales, or marketing experience.  Inbound or outbound call center experience.
  • The ability to work both independently, and in a team environment, are required.  Additional requirements include the ability to multitask in an open work space environment and to maintain a high energy level with strong customer focus.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
