Mechanical Drafter- CREO

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a Drafter with excellent CREO experience to join our Engineering team. If you are looking to join a global organization that holds thousand patents and continues to develop new products, this role could be for you. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create detailed drawings and specifications to manufacture and assemble customer equipment.
  • Coordinate and prepare drawing sets and bills of material as required. Coordinate project work with other design staff and manufacturing. 
  • Create and refine complete materials and bills of materials associated with customer solutions and development work.
  • Observe construction of products as they are completed to understand impact of decisions made throughout design process.
  • Support manufacturing, including occasional monitoring of production and assembly build
  • Assist with design calculations, calculate quantities, review technical specifications, and prepare cost estimates.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Associates degree in a technical discipline or 1-2 years of relevant product design experience required.
  • Prior experience with Creo, ExpertCad, Sketch-Up, or ability to understand and learn software for creation of 2d and 3d drafting and modeling required.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Prior experience using an MRP/ERP system to load materials and routings, SAP experience preferred.
  • Fixture tooling design desired.
  • Knowledge or experience with sheet and plate metal cutting, forming and fabrication desired.
