- Leading the support business with innovative ideas and develop the support offering and agreements in regular meetings with Market Organizations.
- Indirectly leading the remote pH CSC teams to ensure sound expertise for providing 1st and 2nd level support.
- Ownership for the pH Lab training concept with the MSG team: Implement new training opportunities for internal staff and customers. Manage on-site classroom trainings as well as courses at our facilities in Malaysia and USA, including maintenance of local training equipment. Cross-SBU collaboration and alignment is needed to meet the Lab Division requirements.
- Taking the lead with the Application Expert to coordinate acceptance testing for NPDI (New Product Development Initiative) projects and existing products and support the Service Manager for the service testing.
- Acting as main contact for support for NPDI, Lab Division and sales. Together with the MSG team you provide critical input from the field regarding software and user requirements to Product Management and R&D teams in China and Switzerland.
- Attendance in regular maintenance meetings with the MSG team to address quality issues which are reported from the field.
The following qualifications are necessary for this role:
- A master’s degree (Uni/FH) in Chemistry, Biology, or natural science
- At least two years of experience in a similar position with strong people management skills to manage local and remote teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional customer service competence and a track record in performing in stressful situations
- Proven collaboration skills, be it cross-divisional, global, or with sales organizations
- Experienced in establishing training and supporting concepts and practiced with software like CRM, SAP, or Salesforce
- Fluent communication skills in English both oral and written
- Willingness to visit the remote teams and training locations, worldwide travel activity approx. 20%
