Quality Control Inspector Level I-Hybrid Shift

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities


Summary  

Perform visual, functional, and dimensional inspections of molded tips, racks, and pipettes components using precision measuring inspection equipment to assess acceptability based on engineering drawings and process. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform startups and in process tip inspections using microscope, pipettes, and other measuring equipment.
  • Perform basic dimensional Inspections on molded parts components using, calipers, micrometers, ping gauges, surface plate, filler gauges and other required measuring equipment. 
  • Inspect and record results into InfinityQs and other required applications.
  • Ability to understand product drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Verify produced goods meet engineering drawings and specifications. 
  • Take immediate action to ensure the work in progress is within specification and report quality concerns to production lead and/or shift supervisor.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure good teamwork and best practice.
  • Follow Company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Maintain work area clean and organized.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What You Need to Succeed


Education, Experience & Skills
  • High school diploma and or equivalent
  • One (1) or more years of related experience required 
  • Visual and dimensional inspection skills to use precision measuring inspection tools as demonstrated by classroom educational training relative to technical field and/or work experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good computer skills

Qualifications 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, ability required.
  • One (1) or more years’ experience in a high-volume production environment.
  • Good computer skills and must due to inspect and test results entered into InfinityQs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, excel, ability to learn and effectively utilize other software applications.
  • Must be able to multitask in a high-quality environment, with a strong work ethic and reliable work hob history.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units and measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to read and comprehend required documentation.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
