Solution Specialist - Service

Mettler Toledo is seeking a Solution Specialist – SVC for its Columbus, OH location who is responsible for assisting in and driving the development and implementation of a consistent, customer-oriented and user-friendly end-to-end service process based on SAP CRM and integrated service systems. This is a position in a Global team with team members in China, Europe and the Americas. We are currently working on a global strategic business transformation program aimed at standardizing and optimizing our major business processes globally.  In this role, you will act as part of our strategic business transformation program aiming at standardizing our business processes globally and introducing SAP.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  
  • Designing and developing new SAP CRM and ECC-based functionalities and business processes;
  • Designing and developing new Sales Force functionalities and business processes;
  • Configuring SAP CRM services and/or solutions according to process definition/requirements;
  • Facilitate the capture and translation of business requirements into system functionalities;
  • Lead small-/medium-sized projects in the Service business area; work in accordance with and help to develop detailed work plans for our projects;
  • Create or review functional and technical specifications for enhancements, interfaces and data migrations;
  • Involvement in 3rd level support activities for incidents;
  • Contribute to the product backlog by developing detailed work plans and priorities for our products;
  • Create or review functional and technical specifications for enhancements, interfaces and forms   layout;
  • Gather and document requirements to implement products and processes that support the service strategy;
  • Facilitate the delivery and implementation of the technical and business process changes needed;
  • Responsible for high quality process documentation, requirement definition, training material and test cases; and
  • Follow the Agile project methodology for continuous delivery and team improvement initiatives.

What You Need to Succeed

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, such as Electronics Engineering or a similar field, and 3 years of related experience. Required experience must include 3 years in the following specific areas:
  • Managing SAP CRM project lifecycles (documentation, design, customizing, testing, cutover and support);
  • SAP S/4HANA or SAP C/4HANA;
  • SQL;
  • Sales Force development processes including design, documentation, coding, configuration, testing and implementation;
  • ABAP, Apex and C# programming languages;
  • Integrating SAP service modules (CRM, ECC), DSM and Sales Force; and
  • Release Management process experience including planning, testing and deploying enhancements and corrections to production environments and documentation.
Must have ability to travel both internationally and domestically approximately 20% of the time.  

This position has work from home flexibility up to 2 days per week.
