Release Manager

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As a Release Manager you will be a key part of the team responsible for implementing, managing and owning the Release Lifecycle processes, through development, test, and into production environments. You will have one or multiple release cycles assigned to you to own and deliver end to end, ranging from smaller maintenance releases to large complex integrated ones.
  • Manage solution deployment using tools like CHARM, BitBucket, and Jenkins.
  • Bundle changes into relevant releases (daily, weekly, monthly) and communicate deadlines to delivery teams πŸ“….
  • Oversee operational activities for ongoing releases, including planning, timelines, and stakeholder cooperation.
  • Coordinate with external and internal technical teams.
  • Provide input for business communications related to releases πŸ“.
  • Define requirements to enhance DevOps practices.
  • Improve release management tools and processes.
  • Identify blockers and impediments in release management.
  • Implement process improvements, including LEAN initiatives and no-code scripting (e.g., UI Path).
  • Build and maintain a shared Knowledge Base Repository πŸ“š.
  • Lead preparation of the annual release schedule and facilitate integration planning events πŸ“Š.
  • Collaborate with external partners (service providers, audits).

What You Need to Succeed

  • 2-3 years of release management experience 
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle 
  • Experience with SAP transport management and cutover, or other ERP systems 
  • Knowledge of SalesForce deployments or similar platforms 
  • Hands-on experience with SAP transport management tools (e.g., CHARM) 
  • Familiarity with SAFe and/or Agile methodologies 
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Open and trustworthy personality, able to communicate across seniority levels 
  • Commitment to process enforcement 
  • Strong attention to detail and a mindset focused on lean practices and continuous improvement
