- Configure hardware and software
- Conduct Factory System Test (FST)
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs
- Summarize rework and waste trends
- Input data into disturbance database and ERP system
- Independently engage the troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards resolution
- Handles problem escalations to appropriate teams when necessary
- Follow and troubleshoot using detailed mechanical prints, electrical schematics, parts lists, assembly instruction, processes and procedures
- Validate the construction of product inspection equipment in accordance with Risk Assessment and Safe Mechanical and Electrical guidelines
- Ensure all aspects of equipment safety complies with corporate standards
- Assemble product inspection systems as designed when required
- Provide hands on job function training to other Production Technicians to include following detailed mechanical/electrical schematics, prints, parts lists, assembly instructions, processes and procedures and incorporate training to include how to use these skills for troubleshooting and triage
- Document actions by completing quality checklists
- Conduct product assembly set up and system de-bug
- Assist and train other Production Technicians and Technical Assemblers in set up and system de-bug.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
- Accurately track and record time spent on solutions
- Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time
- Other duties and tasks assigned

- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver on project timelines with little supervision
- Well organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Sufficient knowledge of Schematic Drawing, CAD data and BOM structure (Bill of Material)
- Good understanding of the A3 process and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology
- Electrical and Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent understanding on how to use a multi-meter
- Excellent technical documentation skills
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen focus to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year technical school
and
- 5+ years of experience in a production environment with industry comparable Technical Assembler and Production Technician Experience
or
- Rated as a Lvl IV subject matter expert in MT Technical Assembler fields based on our internal Assembly Training/Skills Matrix or equivalent training
