Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer to join our team of 6 at our Salford office. 

This Buyer will manage the Procurement of lower frequency, higher value Goods and Services for conveyor systems.  

The main responsibilities are:
  • Creating and developing a purchasing strategy across a product category
  • Develop supplier relationships to ensure lowest total cost of purchase
  • Active participation in continuous improvement events and NPDI as and when required. 
  • Regular and efficient cross communication with user departments to ensure customer satisfaction. 
We are looking for someone who is innovative and not afraid of challenging the "norm". 

What You Need to Succeed

  • Significant Purchasing experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience procuring low frequency higher value 
  • Experience in Low Cost Country Sourcing e.g. Asia and Eastern Europe
  • Proficient in Excel and SAP
