Assembler Electrical (Sub Assembly)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

This position is responsible, for the electrical assembly of components used in the production of completed conveyor systems. Enclosure assembler will be responsible for the assembly of a variety of electrical enclosures. Team members will be required to read Schematics to build enclosures. This includes building the base plates, wire kits, and wiring the components to specification. Duties also include training to wire conveyor systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Ability to assemble and wire all system control box sub-assemblies, electrical panels & punching holes in the electrical boxes.

    Electrically wire all Product Inspection systems electrical enclosures and other electrical components.

    Follow schematic to ensure all is wired to design

    Follow Quality Check List and other written instruction.

    Follow the 5s program daily

    Maintain our FPY Goals using daily checklists as a guideline for inspection

What You Need to Succeed

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Machine shop skills, basic hand tools, electrical hand tools

    Drills and pneumatic hand tools

    Multimeter, speed tachometer,

    Read electrical schematics

    Ability to work with limited supervision

    Computer Skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)

    Able to lift at least 40 lbs.

Minimum Education / Experience Required:

AS degree or certificate of course completion in Electronic or Electro-mechanical technologies, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
