Key Account Manager

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute overall marketing and sales strategies strategic plan, drive the sales process within the territory, and demonstrate leadership to advance the sale of AutoChem/USA’s proprietary automated equipment for chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical accounts from beginning to end.
  • As a business development and AutoChem technology expert, develop technical sales strategies to target large accounts and achieve or exceed sales targets for all relevant AutoChem products in specified market segments.
  • Analyze key market trends and develop business strategies to drive sales growth and further expose opportunities.
  • Evaluate customers' technical difficulties, formulate technical solutions, and recommend specific proprietary instrumentation products to resolve customer issues.
  • Establish programs for senior-level management at large pharmaceutical and biotech companies to promote AutoChem's proprietary, high end laboratory analytical equipment.
  • Develop, execute and maintain long-term executive level relationships at major accounts.

What You Need to Succeed

Applicants should have the following minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • 3 years of experience working in the Chemical, Bio-Chemical or Pharmaceutical Industry, which must have included all of the following:
    • Capital Project and Sales Management, which includes multi-disciplinary communication with scientists to Sr. and Executive Management level and multi-level team work between Technical and Application Consultants, Service, Marketing and Management
    • Experience with Digitalization in laboratory environment (data and knowledge management)
    • Experience in Process Safety and working pressure reactor technology
    • Experience with in situ particle characterization (FBRM, PVM)
    • Experience in crystallization, process development and Process Analytical technology
