Key Account Manager - Transport and Logistics

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

This remote field position focuses on managing accounts for Mettler Toledo in the Transportation and Logistics market Segment. The customer accounts this individual will be responsible for are in the parcel carrier, warehouse, LTL, air cargo and state departments of transportation industries. 

Other Responsibilities:
  • Developing relationships with key accounts and maintaining those relationships 
  • Presenting to customers at all levels in the Transport and Logistics industry 
  • Manage the sales cycle for projects from application support, creating proposals, orders and managing the installation of the project

What You Need to Succeed

  • A bachelors degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience in applying solutions to improve flow, tracking and reporting processes in parcel carrier, warehouse and logistics applications. This might include experience in conveyor, conveyor control, bar code and camera technologies, Warehouse Management Software (WMS), etc. 
  •  A minimum of 5 years of key account management experience is required, preferably in the transport and logistics industry 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to make presentations to groups and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
