Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- Provide support to Development Team by organizing and executing the testing of new and existing products, components and applications.
· Analyze and record test results, and prepare written test reports.
· Work with engineers to create test plans and reports.
· Monitor tests to ensure processes meet requirements.
· Provide feedback to engineers regarding test observations and findings.
· Assist in the development of test methods to assure that materials, components, final product and applications conform to specifications.
· Maintain accurate records of test results in lab notebook and electronic reporting systems.
· Work with external test equipment suppliers as needed.
· Maintain equipment in R&D / Marketing application lab.
· Support applications-based scientific posters and presentations developed by product managers.
· Trouble shoot applications related problems.
· Work with R&D to transition appropriate product training to others in the organization as required.
· Plan and / or perform studies for product characterization and customer support with well-defined boundaries and timelines.
· Assists in product definition and specification development.
· Maintaining the 3D printing equipment (Polyjet, SAL, DLP) and process freshly printed models into finished parts.
What You Need to Succeed
- AA/AS Degree or equivalent in a laboratory, life sciences or R&D environment plus 3 years of equivalent work experience.
- Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization. Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and customers.
- Ability to use algebra and other related mathematical to analyze test results.
- Knowledge in electronic & mechanical test equipment is required.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook PowerPoint experience a plus.
- Quick learner with the willingness to be trained and take on new skills.
