An RPA Business Analyst (BA) is a key member of Process Automation Team and will support the end-to-end deployment of the RPA solution for the selected business processes. A BA should also act as a gatekeeper of the process automation pipeline by working closely with the business SMEs and Process Automation CoE in identification of automation opportunities, conducting high-level assessments to prioritize opportunities and creating business cases to define the value proposition. They will work with the business teams to re-engineer processes and the Process Automation CoE to ensure these are feasible.
• Review of business processes to assess RPA opportunities and their prioritization for implementation
• Capture As-Is and To-Be process maps and process documentation for selected processes (PDDs)
• Work with the Development Team in implementation of RPA solution through effective capturing of process details & resolution of queries through business SMEs
• Support the testing team in capture of user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts and defining various test cases & scenarios.
• Provide regular project status updates to various stakeholders during project delivery
• Support build-out of an effective automation pipeline (use cases) through initial review of opportunities and feasibility assessment
• Support business case and relevant documentation for potential automation candidate processes
• Provide training, guidance to expert RPA analysts from business teams
• Support the CoE Lead on training/ enablement of new resources and conduct workshops with business users for initial opportunity assessment
• Support the CoE Lead on internal communications to expand the Automation CoE brand within the relevant business areas.
• Support the CoE lead to record benefits quantification post RPA deployment.
Educational Qualification :
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2-4 years of successful experience in a directly related field (CA preferred but Non CA with good accounting knowledge)
Technical Skills :
• Experience of business process improvement or re-design
- Experience of working with SAP or designed RPA projects involving SAP
- Understanding of Finance and Accounting Processes.
• Experience of process mapping and process documentation
• Project management experience
• Understanding of agile concepts is desirable.
• Experience of RPA or any other automation technology is desirable
• Introductory knowledge in the field of AI and ML
• Experience in implementing Python, ML, AI solution is desirable (not necessary)
Soft Skills :
• A good understanding of the business and industry he or she is analyzing
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Good analytical skills with the ability to evaluate requirements from different angles with clear and logical thinking
• Ability to articulate key points and present findings to various stakeholders
• High level of curiosity, attention to detail and good communication skills
• A “zoom-in zoom-out” approach in identifying the best solution, always ensuring that the steps taken are coherent with the program vision
• Ability to work effectively in team environment.
