Training Lead, Instrument Manufacturing

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are currently hiring a Training Lead to work jointly with all departments, primarily with production supervisors, our Technical Trainer, and production staff.  In this role, our Training Lead will develop and conduct trainings and workshops on company procedures, use of company systems, quality & safety, culture and other topics. Your responsibilities would include:

  • Assuming responsibility for the implementation and continuous improvement of the Packaging Department’s training program under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor.

  • Coordinating and schedules on the job training (OJT) and individual online training for new employees.

  • Assisting new employees in the onboarding and orientation process.

  • Updating and maintaining training records, including training matrixes.

  • Monitoring progress of trainees against training goals, and monitors the performance and effectiveness of technical instructors.

What You Need to Succeed

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  Some college experience or associates degree/certificate preferred.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Computer skills desired in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and have good communication skills.

  • Must have the ability to read and interpret written documentation.
