PLM Business Analyst

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

PLM Business Analyst is responsible for support the activities of the Solution Architect and Product Owner on different projects in the area of PLM Solutions. This person plans, contributes to and / or executes PLM projects with METTLER TOLEDO subsidiaries. 

Your responsibilities: 
  • Identify, develop, and support business process changes. 
  • Conduct detailed interrogation of customer needs and translate them into functional / non-functional requirements to improve the productivity of the business with regards to PLM. 
  • Ensure that the solutions delivered across the whole PLM Solutions Team are aligned with the defined policies and guidelines. 
  • Support the definition of template processes & solutions and the end-to-end delivery process. 
  • Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. 
  • Test against defined acceptance criteria acting as (or on behalf of) Product Owner. 
  • Create and maintain user manuals and process documentation. 
  • Execute user training for new functionalities and refresh training. 
  • Provide 3rd level support for complex issues to the PLM applications and related processes. 
  • Support project delivery during the various phases of implementation, testing and delivery to production.

What You Need to Succeed

  • At least 2 years of experience working with engineering applications. 
  • Gook knowledge of PLM processes. 
  • Good knowledge of: 
    • PLM applications (Siemens Teamcenter is plus), 
    • low code development applications (Mendix is a plus), 
    • ALM applications (Polarion is a plus), 
    • continuous delivery supporting tools (e.g. Jenkins, GIT). 
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. 
  • Very good communication skills. 
  • Independent, accurate way of working and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies, high problem-solving ability but also a team player.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies will be a plus. 
  • Java and/or C++ programming languages Will be a plus. 
  • That role might sometimes require working evenings and weekends. 
  • Travel requirements up to 20%.
