Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Summary:  

The primary function is to provide administrative support to improve efficiencies in the daily operations of the MTPI – US Application Center. Designated responsibilities will be integrated into three product lines: X-Ray (XR), Metal Detection (MD), and CheckWeighing (CW). The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for product inventory management, queue, and database management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

§  Manage test product inventory and storage. (Ability to lift 25 to 50lbs).

§  Ensure lab queue is up-to-date with product and Request for Test received.

§  Communicate with Sales Team to ensure RFT is complete and matches the product received, and there are no discrepancies.

§  Ensure Application Center including Product storage meets 5S initiatives.

§  Comply with all safety policies and procedures

§  Keep work area clean and organized, ensuring we make a positive impression on our customers.

§  Other duties as required by the manager

Knowledge, Skills, Attitude:

§  Problem solving in a timely and effective manner.

§  Organized and disciplined administrative skills.

§  Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel

Clearly and honestly, share information and convey information without blame. Building relationships and fulfill customer needs through disciplined listening and receptiveness to contrary ideas. Demonstrate negotiating skills through effective listening, soliciting feedback, and interpersonal give and take, allowing the team to arrive at a decision based on mutual trust and respect.

§  Process orientation – understand all areas of responsibility in own process, goals of the process, and how the process supports the organization. Look for and identify inefficiencies in the process and recommend a solution for continuous improvement

Educational Requirements:

§  High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
