Head of Sales, North America / Australia

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Summary:   Responsible for the leadership and development of sales activities in the territory incorporating management of both direct personnel and 3rd party organizations (distributors). Initiates the development and execution of key account programs and is a key contributor to the strategic development of Eagle's range of inspection products. This is an important customer facing role with significant interaction with end users, partner channels and internal teams. A senior role in Eagle's marketing organization and one that carries responsibility for strengthening and expanding the company's presence in a key geographical market.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

·         Grow sales revenue and profitability within the territory to budget expectations.

·         Responsible for the construction and successful execution of the annual business plan for the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand

·         Responsible for developing & leading Regional Sales Managers, Direct Sales Representatives, Distribution and Integrator partnerships

·         Leads the management of external channels and initiates programs to improve overall effectiveness

·         Manages key account development program within the region and in support of overall Eagle business initiatives

·         Provides direction for marketing programs required to support key sector or customer engagement activities

·         Partner with the Eagle Head of Service and regional service business leader to ensure customer satisfaction and help grow service and profitability growth

·         Directly supports new sales & service activities in the X-Ray area on an as need basis, in coordination with the regional sales & service managers and the relevant project managers

·         Works closely with the PO Product Management, Engineering, R&D, Operations and Service teams to develop concepts for future product and service offerings and the delivery of service, as customer needs, Eagle products, and technologies change.

·         Represents the territory needs and requirements to Product Management; champions the Eagle organization with the Producing Organization (PO and partners with the team to improve quality, lead times and deliverables for customers.

·         Provides effective problem resolutions to sales, service or marketing dilemmas

·         Ability to travel throughout the Americas (and globally when required)

·         Ability to motivate and support internal and external personnel

·         Able to establish and meet short and long sales goals

·         Promotes teamwork, identifies and ensures professional staff development

·         Manages and controls departmental expenditures; allocates resources among a diverse set of functional and business needs

·         Other assignments and tasks as assigned.

Prerequisites (Education, Experience):

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         10 years experience
