Material Coordinator

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Attend the daily "start-up" meeting to review daily priorities.
  • Separate all orders and Distribute to the correct location ensure they are accurate and drawings are included
  • Ensure Rush or Priority jobs are immediately sent to the necessary departments and completed
  • Tracking fabrication orders and ensure the priority schedule is followed 
  • Train Saw Operators in proper cutting techniques, scheduling, and how to read engineered drawings
  • Track missing components to ensure orders are complete
  • Setup for the next shift to ensure all product and material are available for the welders and machine shop
  • Use ERP Software for Order Tracking/Correcting
  • Put away Staged Parts in Fabrication and Other Areas as Needed

What You Need to Succeed

Knowledge, Skills, Attitude:

·         Organization and Scheduling Skills
·         Able to follow written and verbal directions
·         Ability to match names and numbers quickly and accurately
·         Knowledge of methods and practices used in storing, kitting, and issuing materials & supplies
·         Mettler-Toledo, Inc. software standards:
·         Syteline and Growth Power ERP systems
·         Microsoft Office Suite
·         Maintain records and solve missing parts issues
·         Perform math computations
·         Unitizes various types of machinery, equipment and office supplies.
·         Able to operate motorized fork lift equipment and manual pallet jacks.

Prerequisites (Education, Experience):
·         High school diploma or equivalency

·         3 years of material handling and ERP Software
