Digital Marketing Technologist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are searching for a Digital Marketing Technologist to fill a critical position responsible for developing the Digital Marketing Program for pre- and post-sales support for AutoChem. You will need to leverage data visualization skills and use a variety of platforms to develop content to develop and support AutoChem's Digital Marketing Program with high-value on-demand and live virtual sales activities, such as eDemos and eAFT (Application Feasibility Tests).


Responsibilities will include:

·        Developing the Digital Marketing Program

o   Working with the AutoChem Management Team, develop the strategy for the Digital Marketing Program

o   Working with the Market Development and Product Managers to evaluate current digital marketing vehicles and design a formal digital program to support virtual content development and rollout.

o   With the support of the AutoChem MarCom team, set up a 'studio lab' to be used for live eDemos and eAFTs by the sales team, as well as provide an environment for photo and video content creation by the MarCom team, and digital content by the Digital Marketing Technologist

o   Work with Software Marketing team to provide input on visualization considerations during the software development process

o   Evaluate digital platforms for enhanced hosting of video and other content for live online customer interaction

o   Develop strong technical product knowledge to develop storyboards and scripts for video content development

o   Develop and position yourself as the global lead on the Digital Support Program

o   Work closely with global TAC teams to ensure best practice is being implemented with respect to sales execution in the field

o   Rollout new content and platforms and support major MOs to ensure uptake an utilization

o   Support key account programs globally with high value sales calls and support for strategic meetings

o   Support AutoChem's social media presence LinkedIn

·        Training and Mentoring

o   Train all AutoChem sales team worldwide on the available digital platforms and tools

o   With the Sales Management Team, formally evaluate the needs for digital tools, the utilization and success (conversion) rate


What You Need to Succeed

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Chemical Engineering required, Masters or PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Two (2) years in laboratory instrument support role or combination of education and experience
  • Experience with various automated lab reactors and in-situ analytics technologies, including EasyMax, ReactIR, ReactRaman, EasyViewer and ParticleTrack, is desired
  • Strong track record of delivering business results and demonstrated ability to mobilize and influence an organization
  • Open and effective communication style, excellent public presentation skills, strong people skills, cross-organizational teamwork and the ability to interact with and influence the direction of key opinion leaders
  • Excellent technical writing skills with prior experience in marketing communications and proven track record developing high value content for a scientific audience
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, domestic and international travel may be required
