Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Software Testing is part of the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) process.  It incorporates monitoring and improving the process, making sure agreed-upon standards and procedures are followed, and ensuring problems are found and dealt with. It is oriented towards prevention to assist in the development of high quality software.
  • Quality software is software that is reasonably defect free, delivered on time and within budget, meets the requirements and expectations of the customer, and is maintainable.  The primary principle of software quality is that improving quality reduces development costs and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and document plan for data collection from multiple teams, with focus being in CRM and ERP.
  • Determine and implement data creation process.
  • Establish and document maintenance approach to ensure data quality and stability.
  • Identify and implement data storage approach, considering needs for data use across multiple testing environments.
  • Participate in enterprise initiatives to bring consistency to the company's testing efforts.Ensure team members are aligned and executing upon strategic testing efforts.
  • Manual test case execution on multiple platforms
  • Providing detailed documentation on system defects
  • Testing fixes and multiple builds within scheduled timeframes
  • Verification and analysis of results, solving potential problems, bottlenecks.
  • Coordinating activities with external partners
  • Stay current on industry trends and standards; conceive and present to management and peers ways to improve current practices to stay competitive in the marketplace and on the cutting edge while maintaining strict quality standards.
  • Provide effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to plan.
  • Assure the viability, functionality and effectiveness of essential tools.
  • Anticipate program release problems and take corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments.
  • Maintain high level of quality in all duties assigned.
  • Develop and manage working relationships with any outside vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Education
    - Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business or Technology
  • Working experiences
    - 5+ years of experience in IT projects dealing with complex data structures; detailed understanding of SAP data structures is preferred.
    - 5+ years of experience in ETL Testing.
    - 5+ years of experience in data analysis and data transfer with ability to write complex queries, coding in at least one scripting language.
    - SAP Technical experience with LSMW and additional load programs (BAPI, SAP Scripts)
    - Familiarity with current project management of software applications with defined software development processes and quality systems including change management and deliverable versioning systems.
    - Experience working in international environments.
    - Awareness of software architectures and technologies including .Net, web development and services, server management, and relational databases.  SAP experience a plus.
    - Experience with software test management applications. 
    - Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
    - Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    - Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
    - Flexible during times of change.
    - Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
    - Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
    - Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
    - Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
    - Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business or Technology or equivalent and/ or a minimum of 5 years' experience and demonstrated excellence within a minimum of one of the subject matters listed above.
  • Professional skills
    - Strong written and oral communication skills.
    - Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
    - Strong interpersonal skills.
    - Extensive understanding of Quality Assurances processes.
    - Analytical thinking ability.
    - Minimum two years' direct work experience in an international environment, project management experience is a benefit.
