Sales Manager - OEM

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities


    To develop and maintain successful business relationships with all prospects and customers in a designated customer type, namely OEM’s


    To achieve all revenue targets and objectives in line with the approved Area Business Plan


    To grow UK sales in Industrial products


    To develop and guide the OEM Sales team in order to grow business in existing accounts and pass over newly developed accounts when appropriate. Including guidance for achievement of sales pipeline as well as sales guidance and personal development.


    To regularly report business trends and area performance to the Business Manager including market feedback to enable the division to respond to changing market demands and develop new products and services


    Achievement of region budget (includes sales revenue, C1, PEX & OP).


    To conduct strategic planning for business development and resource requirements


    To be an active member of the Industrial Leadership Team and contribute to divisional success in line with the company's strategic initiatives.


    Commitment to and execution of group and company strategies for continuous improvement and continuity.


    To effectively manage territory, area and sales forecasting to ensure effective opportunity management and provide accurate visibility on future order pipeline.


    To promote and ensure the effective use of the company’s CRM system as the principal sales force tool in contact management, territory management and workflow


    To lead the team in key account and strategic sales & marketing initiatives to maximise penetration of target customers and market segments


LIMITS OF AUTHORITY

    Responsible for Industrial OEM sales Cost Centre. Spending limits as agreed from time to time by Business Manager and Financial Controller. Pricing policy controlled by Business Manager, Industrial Division.


    Discount approvals per SAP DAW

What You Need to Succeed

  • Working Knowledge of Weighing Systems
  • Mechanical & Electrical System Knowledge
  • Working knowledge of automation and industrial communication standards
  • Experience of the OEM machinery industry
