Quality Technician

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician to assist/support the Quality Lead by providing production expertise to resolve Quality issues within the production operation in a timely and structured manner. 

Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensure that the product meets customer’s requirements (both internal and external) at each stage of its manufacturing process, carrying out relevant testing and where necessary take corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues. 
  • Report quality issues data, ensuring the Quality Management System is adhered to at all stages.
  • Manage all incoming inspection, ensuring parts are available when needed
  • Ability to lead the quality control activities in plant
  • Provide support to quality assurance and other quality function within the plant
  • Lead the quality function on control of non-conforming material in the plant with a view of continuous improvement
  • Support the Quality function in rejection definition & FAI signoff
  • Supplier point of contact for goods in inspection & rejection
  • Inspect and auditing of all components and all stages of the manufacturing process
  • Investigate any quality issues to identify root cause and raise appropriate corrective action paperwork and ensure issues are addressed and resolved
  • Be first point of contact for all shop floor quality matters and ensure prompt resolution
  • Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (ISO9001/14001)
  • Support regular inspection meetings with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving quality.
