PIUS-PO Controller

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The PIUS-PO Controller is responsible for supporting the PIUS Head of Finance and PIUS-PO General Manager for all financial aspects related to operations. This generally includes key areas of:
Budgeting and Planning;
Internal Controls and Processes for compliance with SOX;
Financial Reporting – Group reporting and Management reports;
Financial Reporting – Compliance with GAAP and SEC Rules;
Working Capital Management – Inventory;
Bonus management;
Compiling and Presenting Financial Results and KPIs
Acquisitions

The PIUS-PO Controller should maximize financial performance by efficiently and proactively leading (and/or serving as) the following:
Liaise with PIUS-PO Senior Management, Group Finance functions, and PIUS-MO Finance.
Significant active participation in the financial planning and budgeting processes.
Leading the compilation and development of financial reporting and analysis – including month end close.
Support a strong financial control environment and compliance with SOX regulations.
Staff development and mentoring.
Participate heavily in the inventory counting process and analyzing results.
Lead facilities spend analysis, interface with facilities team on usage optimization, and Green MT submissions.
Definition and project management of strategic initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.

The PIUS-PO Controller will lead and develop direct reports. These direct reports will assist the PIUS-PO Controller in their specific areas to meet the key objectives of PIUS-PO and overall General Accounting and Compliance.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance.
Masters of Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or Finance or Certified Public Accountant preferred.
Solid GAAP accounting skills.
Solid knowledge of re-engineering concepts for improvement of business processes and control orientation.
Strong PC and presentation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to communicate relevant issues to senior financial and operational management.
Solid knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory control

Prior Work Experience:
7-10 years' experience in a multi-national environment.
Solid business acumen and proven track record of improvement, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong ability to communicate concisely and manage multiple objectives.
Demonstrated experience for the strong support of and / or led change management activities in relation to business process and control orientation.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software and G/L software applications.
Proven ability to manage direct reports.
Track record of supporting and driving decisions that move the needle.

Highly analytical with strong ability to think accurately “on the run”.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong ability to lead and direct cross-functional rapidly changing organizations.
Project management skills to implement corporate and locally driven projects on time.
Hands on, focused, detailed, and results oriented.
SAP experience is highly preferred
